The Lord of the Rings: War in the North:
Item Database
By reverse-engineering this game, I was able to construct a database of all equipment items in Lord of the Rings: War in the North. You can obtain any of these items in the game yourself via the Drop Any Item tool I created (Cheat Engine is also required).
There are a total of 6,552 equipment items in the game. Items are split across 17 different types. With the exception of elfstones (there are 152 of those), each type contains 400 items. These are organized within game memory in their approximate order of appearance.
Although better items generally appear later in the game and at higher levels, this is not always the case. For example, the best ring (containing 2 elfstone slots) is arguably the Imladris Signet, which is located at position r_075 and is received from Elrond as a quest reward on Easy and Normal difficulties only. Keep this mind when browsing the tables below!
Excluding elfstones, the final three items in any category x_398, x_399, x_400 have values consistent with early-game gear. For armor, these items represent the game's preorder bonuses. However, the non-armor items associated with indices 398, 399, 399 do not correspond to any preorder item. In some cases, these latter items have a level requirement of 40 (the level cap), making them unusable until they have become wholly outclassed by other items.
Note: there are a handful of errors in War in the North's English language pack. Any typos in the below tables are intentional.
