DESCRIPTION:
===================================================================================================

In Requiem, you can smelt down e.g. steel armor into ingots for later crafting. However, for some
reason you cannot do the same with steel arrows or crossbow bolts. This made no sense to me as
arrowheads -- and bolts in particular -- are pure metal. So why can't we recycle them?

This mod addresses that oversight by adding new smelter recipes to convert bundles of between 12-48
arrows/bolts into their respective ingots. In general, if it takes one ingot to make 12 arrows, you
will need 12 arrows to reproduce that ingot. For Daedric arrows, the equation is slightly different
and you can technically obtain more ebony ingots than you used to create them. However, this is
balanced by the extreme rarity/expense of Daedra hearts and the fact that you cannot find Daedric
arrows or bolts in any sizable quantity during regular play.

In addition, the ebony and glass recipes now produce 48 arrows/bolts from a single ingot. Because
ebony and malachite are so rare in Requiem, there was rarely any reason for the player to craft
these items. For similar reasons, Daedric arrows and bolts can now be produced in bundles of 240
from a single ebony ingot and one Daedra heart.

Finally, this mod removes the ridiculous requirement for "Dwarven powder" from all Dwarven smelting
recipes. With all the Dwarven ruins dotting Skyrim, it never made sense to "lock away" the smithing
of Dwarven armor and weapons. Given Requiem's focus on traditional RPG linear vs. quadratic scaling
mechanics (i.e. heavy armor users are initially far more powerful than any other class, but scale
poorly at higher levels), the inclusion of Dwarven powder as a balancing mechanic never made sense.

This mod only changes recipes and should be compatible with most other mods.

REQUIREMENTS:
===================================================================================================

Skyrim Legendary Edition
Requiem 1.9.4 (will *probably* work with newer versions)

INSTALLATION:
===================================================================================================
