NanoContinuity for Crysis 3 (SINGLE-PLAYER ONLY!)

Were you disappointed by the "watering down" of the Nanosuit's power over the Crysis trilogy? Were
you saddened by the removal of Speed Mode, or irritated by the constant drain of armor mode? Was it
frustrating for you that the SCAR inexplicably went from a capacity of 280 rounds down to 140?

NanoContinuity is designed to ease the jarring transition in gameplay between Crysis and Crysis 3
by giving the Nanosuit a similar function and feel to its original incarnation. In essence, this
mod finally brings back the Nanosuit's teeth! Key features include:

    * Speed Mode is reintroduced as the default Nanosuit function and has been tuned to match the
      feel of the original games. You will run MUCH faster than in regular Crysis 3, but doing so
      will quickly deplete your suit's energy.

    * Armor mode no longer drains energy when active, and otherwise behaves similarly to the
      original games. Running speed while armored now matches that of the original games.

    * Nanovision and weapon-sight stabilization energy costs have been vastly reduced in an attempt
      to mimic the "night vision" mode of Crysis and Crysis Warhead.

    * The time before your Nanosuit energy begins to recharge has been reduced to match the feel
      of the original games.

    * Jump height has been increased by around 50%.

    * Cloak Mode suppresses all player noise, as in the original games (but getting too close still
      results in detection by enemies).

    * Melee energy costs and damage have been rebalanced to better reflect the old Power Mode.

    * The clip sizes and capacities of all "legacy" weapons (SCAR, Gauss, DSG-1, grenades, etc.)
      have been readjusted to reflect that of Crysis and Crysis Warhead.

    * The K-Volt damage to the Nanosuit has been reduced by around 50% (being a submachine gun, the
      original damage values were completely ridiculous on the hardest difficulty level).

    * Attachment clip sizes for the Guass and Light Shotgun have been increased.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND PLAYING THIS MOD ON THE HIGHEST DIFFICULTY (POST-HUMAN WARRIOR). All changes
were balanced around this difficulty to better mimic "Delta" from Crysis and Crysis Warhead. This
mod makes the Nanosuit more effective, but does NOT necessarily make the game easier. As with the
original games, difficulty now depends more on your playstyle and skills with each suit mode than
on pure/traditional FPS twitch mechanics.

All changes were tested WITHOUT Nanosuit upgrades. As a result, upgrades now feel exactly how they
should: transforming and expanding your Nanosuit into an even more deadly form. To maximize this
experience, consider creating a new profile / starting with zero upgrades.

THIS MOD IS FOR SINGLE-PLAYER MODE ONLY.



INSTALLATION:

1. Download and install the Crysis 3 Mod Enabler.
2. Copy __modResources\Patch\patch1.pak to the __modInput folder.
3. Open __modInput\patch1.pak with 7Z, WinRAR, etc.
4. Copy the "C3" folder from this mod into patch1.pak, then close 7Z/WinRAR.
5. Open up a Command Prompt and navigate to the Crysis 3 Mod Enabler's folder.
6. Type the following command: python packModFiles.py.
7. Press Enter and wait until you see a success message.
8. Close the Command Prompt.
9. Copy __modOutput\patch1.pak to your Crysis 3 Patch folder (e.g. C:\Games\Crysis 3\Patch).
   Make sure to copy this file from __modOutput and NOT __modInput! The latter will NOT work!

Now, run Crysis 3 according to the Crysis 3 Mod Enabler readme guide, and have fun! Please note
that for some mods, you may need to start a new game or restart the current level before the mod
will take effect.
